Bovey Tracey - Attractions at this pleasant town on the River Bovey include Becky Falls Woodland Park, Devon Guild of Craftsmen and Riverside Mill.
Chagford - An ancient Stannery town with walks on the surrounding hillsides, fishing at the nearby Fernworthy Reservoir. Three miles north east of Chagford is Castle Drogo - the last castle to be built in the UK.

Powderham Castle - the historic home of the Earl of Devon, this castle lies in a beautiful setting in an ancient deer park alongside the River Exe.
Becky Falls - High on Dartmoor Becky Falls Woodland Park, with its huge oak canopy, rugged landscape, massive granite boulders and waterfalls, provides some of the most scenic and enjoyable walks in the south west as well as loads of fun for all the family throughout the seasons.
Buckfast Abbey - Home of a Roman Catholic Community of Benedictine monks, Buckfast now welcomes almost half a million visitors each year.
Canonteign Falls - The Falls descend almost vertically for 220ft (67m) and run on through rock formations and ancient woodlands before cascading into the tranquil lakes below, and offer a spectacular day out for all the family.
Castle Drogo - The 'last castle to be built in England', dramatically situated above the Teign Gorge.
Dawlish Warren - A large, safe sandy beach that is lifeguard patrolled during the summer season, ideal for children to play safely, plus a Nature Reserve, which spans over the mud flats of the estuary to sandy shores, sand dunes, wet grassland, reed beds and ponds. Guided tours are organised by the Visitors Centre at the edge of the Reserve.
Exeter Racecourse - One of the loveliest racecourses and the highest in the land.
Miniature Pony Centre - Visitors to the Miniature Pony Centre & Animal Farm can experience animals, activities and adventure, all set in 20 acres of beautiful parkland within Dartmoor National Park.
South Devon Railway - Experience the best of unspoilt Devon from a South Devon Railway steam train as it hugs the beautiful River Dart all the way between Totnes and Buckfastleigh on this former Great Western Railway branch line.
Stone Lane Gardens - A five acre arboretum presenting 'The Mythic Garden', an annual sculpture exhibition, amid National Collections of Birch and Alder in a landscaped water & woodland setting.
